My name is T.R.A.V.L.R, and I am a composer, producer, singer, songwriter and guitarist. I am 20 years old, and I am a newcomer. I released my first single just a year ago, so I'm not as popular as I'd like to be one day. But seeing you here brings me one step closer to my dream.Music has always been everything to me. I started playing the trumpet when I was six years old and later continued with guitar when I was twelve. After, I taught myself piano and saxophone. To live even one day without music would not be possible for me. In the past five years, there has not been a day when I have not played my guitar for at least 1 hour. I would say music speaks where words cannot, and I think that is what fascinates me so much. My biggest goal in being a musician is to give people something to hold on to. I don't want to make just music. I want my music to move people, make them cry, make them laugh or just make them dance without worrying. I want people to listen to my music and leave everyday life's stress behind for a few minutes.

At a very early age, my grandfather, to whom I owe a large part of who I am today, introduced me to artists like Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix and David Gilmour. He introduced me to styles like blues, jazz, folk and rock. This is still the music I always listen to. After I started writing my own songs, I fell in love with the singer-songwriter genre. But my heart still belongs to Rock 'n' Roll. Even as a child and later as a teenager, I was hooked on the music of the sixties to the eighties. I listened to everything from Chuck Berry to John Mayer, Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton, the great B. B. King and Pink Floyd. I would say that my way of playing guitar and singing is mainly inspired by musicians like B. B. King and John Mayer but also musicians like Passenger and Dean Lewis.

Currently, I use a MacBook Air with an M1 processor and a Volt 476 from Universal Audio. Also, the HS7 from Yamaha and a Daw controller from Behringer. The Behringer X Touch Compact and the xTouch Mini. I use a MIDI keyboard, also from Yamaha. In addition, an Akai MIDI keyboard. and the Native Instruments S88 Mark 2 pared with the Grandeur, Maverick and Gentleman Bundle from NI. I also write almost all my songs on my 100+ year old upright piano or my Guild acoustic guitar. Lately I've been using the Shure SM57 almost exclusively for guitar recordings.

I mostly write on my acoustic guitar or a piano. Mostly in my studio, because there is a very inspiring atmosphere. It's very cosy and I can quickly write my lyrics there. Most of the time, I need a melody first, and only then can I write my lyrics.
